How far in advance should I make reservations?

We recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible.

We have only 30 seats available each evening, and we expect to book up as much as a month or more in advance, particularly during the popular summer months. Tables of two and larger groups are particularly popular, so please book early to guarantee your seat at Fluke.

Yes! Chef Arsenault brings a commitment to Francophone-inspired local foods, supporting sustainability and minimizing food waste. Each weekly menu is designed to showcase the freshest Island ingredients, reflecting the best of every season.

$110 per person, excluding gratuity and taxes. Alcohol is available for purchase.

Each group that books is seated at their own private table. We have tables for as few as two people up to as many as 8 people.

The largest table that can be booked online seats 8 people.  

Groups may book more than one smaller table to accommodate larger group sizes but we cannot guarantee that the tables will be located close to each other in the dining room and tables cannot be pushed together. Please note that if you book two smaller tables online, your party will be seated at separate tables.

Any of our experiences can be booked exclusively by a single group. A minimum guest number of 30 applies. We offer custom menu events.  

Yes, indeed.  

Absolutely! If you have a special bottle of wine you’ve been holding on to for a special occasion, bring it along. Our liquor license allows our guests to bring their own (commercially produced) wine to enjoy with their meal. Just present it to your waiter when you arrive for serving. Our corkage fee is $25 per bottle.

A payment of $25 per person is required in advance. We require 72 hours notice prior to the date/time of reservation to make modifications to or cancel a reservation.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Android Pay and Debit.

For the Fluke experience we open the doors at 6:00 pm. The dinner service begins at 6:30 pm. 

Each experience is about 2.5 hours long, wrapping up by 9:00 pm or 9:15 pm at the latest.

We don’t suggest our experiences for children younger than 18 years of age. Our hotel is an adults-only hotel; all guests staying in the hotel must be 18+

We offer exceptional quality, in a spectacular setting, with a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s date night, a special occasion, or a meal with old friends, come to suit your desired experience. In other words, no suits required. A “casual” dress code is acceptible. 

We are located in Grand Tracadie on the fourth floor of The Hotel Acadia at Blackbush Beach Resort, just 20 minutes from Charlottetown.

Yes! There is ample free parking available at The Hotel Acadia. Enter by the main entrance into The Hall and our front desk team will be happy to direct you to the elevator to the fourth floor.

We encourage all guests with any kind of allergies or dietary concerns to contact Fluke directly by phone or email to confirm whether their needs will be met during our experiences.

We require 72 hours notice prior to the date/time of reservation to make modifications to or cancel a reservation. 

When you make reservations, either online or by phone, you will be prompted or asked to provide a $25 deposit for the meal portion of your dining experience at the time of booking (beverages will be available during your meal at additional cost).

But really, we understand that things happen and sometimes plans change. Not to worry – cancellations made at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to a reservation will receive a full refund. If you would like to adjust/decrease the number of guests in your reservation, it is important to do this more than 3 days in advance as well. It is only cancellations or changes made to reservations less than 3 days prior that will not receive a refund.

Guests should contact Fluke by phone or email to cancel or modify their reservation.

Yes! Our team will be pleased to support guests with mobility needs, and we offer fully accessible washrooms on all floors at The Hotel Acadia.

Yes! We encourage you to share the Fluke experience with friends and family. You may purchase a Gift Certificate through the website by clicking here or you can contact us directly by e-mail at frontdesk@blackbush.ca and we will be happy to help you. Gift Certificates purchased online will be emailed to you.

Do you post the menu?

Is there a minimum number of guests required for booking?

Yes indeed.

Do you offer wine pairings?
For sure! Our Chef personally curates a flight of Canadian wines that pairs perfectly with each week’s menu.

Can I bring my own wine?

We do not recommend our experiences for children younger than 14 years of age.

What should I wear?
We offer exceptional quality, in a spectacular setting, with a relaxed atmosphere. Whether it’s date night, a special occasion, or a meal with old friends, come to suit your desired experience. In other words, no suits required. Keep it “business casual” with slacks and a nice shirt. 

Where are you located?
We are located in Grand Tracadie on the fourth floor of The Hotel Acadia at Blackbush Beach Resort, just 20 minutes from Charlottetown.

I have allergies and/or dietary restrictions, can you accommodate them?
Fluke specializes in providing set-menu meals where each course is cooked, plated and served from our small kitchen. With this type of dining model, it is difficult to simultaneously prepare alternatives to be either allergy-friendly or to satisfy individual dietary preferences/lifestyle choices without compromising the safety and quality of those dishes and the value and integrity of the experience. 

While we sympathize with guests who have allergies, we are NOT able to safely accommodate food allergies to dairy, lactose, all seafood, onions or garlic. Please note that at least 2-3 courses in each meal include seafood (fish, mollusks, bivalves and/or crustaceans), and dairy, garlic and onion are ingredients in the majority of courses.

We are also NOT able to accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets

We ARE able to accommodate celiac diets and nut allergies, as well as allergies to foods grown only in tropical environments.

All allergies and dietary restrictions must be indicated at the time of booking. Allergies or dietary restrictions provided on arrival can not be accommodated.

Please note that we are NOT able to make substitutions for food aversions.
